Plus a weekly live community check in!

Most practices are seeing a significant increase in the number of Gestational Diabetes diagnosis. Those with risk factors are increasing.

Early intervention for prevention, or as close to diagnosis as possible, are key to optimal control.

No matter how many patients you feel will benefit from this program, they are all included in the same price.

Have someone in the first trimester with risk factors? Refer them!

Have someone with a new diagnosis? Refer them!

Your low monthly fee covers it all.

PLUS, your patients get ongoing support from us. With a weekly check in available, women can just sit and listen, or ask questions, and become part of a community of support!

Everyone benefits!

When you let us do this important education, providers have more time to spend on direct patient care, generating valuable revenue and completing other important administrative tasks.

Providers and/or nurses are spared from repetitive teaching; over and over again. Nurses are freed up and can focus on more urgent tasks.

Patients get easy to understand, evidence based information that they can access without being referred for ANOTHER appointment.

Plus they get done-for-you meal and snack plans, with a premade shopping lists each week. Patient understanding and compliance is enhanced. Ultimately outcomes are improved from better glycemic control.

Let us teach your patients today!

Most patients don't even know what a "carb" is, let alone how to properly plan a meal.

You probably have a handout for them, but how many people can take that information and translate it into actionable changes in their life? Statistically, not many.

When your practice signs up, all of your patients have immediate access. All of the guess work is taken out of the most important part of GDM control; the food. They get 12 weeks of pre-planned meals and snacks. All they have to do is take the premade shopping list and actually use it.

Plus we educate them on the "why" of food, exercise, and lifestyle changes. This improves overall compliance and reduces frustration; for providers and patients.

Important Points

Just to make sure we are all on the same page...

  • We offer EDUCATION ONLY for those at risk for, or currently diagnosed with, Gestational diabetes, Pre-gestational diabetes/Type II DM, and insulin resistance/carbohydrate intolerance.

  • We do not monitor the glucose records of your patients or determine adequate control. We can assist with modifying meal plans if a meal/snack from our plans is causing specific elevation in glucose from that meal/snack.

  • We do not start or manage medication for any of your patients.

Pricing options

Once you sign up, your pricing is locked in for the lifetime of your membership (as long as you maintain consistent enrollment). You'll never be affected by future price increases! All site and information upgrades will always be included in the same low membership price.

As long as you have people who need the information we will be here!

Instructor

Miriam D. Hughes, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC, CFNP

Miriam D. Hughes

Miriam is passionate about life choices and how they affect overall health! Her first career was as a fitness instructor/nutrition coach. She transitioned into medicine when she realized more of her patients had multiple health conditions that she wanted to help with. She worked hard to become a Registered Nurse and worked in many areas including ER, ICU, and L&D. She realized she wanted to specialize as a practitioner and went back to school. She graduated from Georgetown University in Washington DC with her Master's of Science in Nursing and a focus in Women's Health. It didn't take her very many years to realize what she new already knew from her first career, lifestyle affects everything! Unfortunately her current practitioner training was lacking in a whole-person view. Back to training she went and received additional certifications as a Functional and Integrative Women's Health Practitioner, plus as a Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner. Her goal is to bring whole-person health education into fashion. Her conventional training, married with her functional training, gives her a unique perspective on helping create change in each person's life that is meaningful and effective while being supported by current evidence.
